The new club. There are several levels to this establishment. The first, or main floor, is an upscale social and dining experience, featuring the best in fine international cuisine, hosted by one of Washington's most well-renowned maîtres d'hôtel.
The second floor is a members-only, "VIP Lounge" area, which houses an upgraded, reserved, and intimate venue catering to smaller, more exclusive groups.
The third floor is reserved for staff.
The basement is dégagé in style, an affable atmosphere catering more towards the casual, informal crowd, with lighted dance areas, billiards and a small arcade in back.
There is also a cozy reserved area on the lower level, once a wine cellar [and prior to that, said to originally have been a jail cell], now meticulously restored and upgraded, in which very small groups may enjoy a private and unique dining experience, complete with their own personal sommelier and majordomo.
